Date and Time
Choose a time based on my availability!
What to Expect
This is an intimate, small-group workshop (2–4 participants) for a personalized, hands-on experience. Each participant will have their own workstation at a shared table. We’ll share soldering torches (butane and/or acetylene) and a Flex Shaft.
The studio is located in a shared artist space inside a converted warehouse garage in Sugarhouse. It’s full of creative energy and charm — but bring layers in the winter months! There’s a shared restroom in the building.
What’s Included
-
3 hours of guided instruction depending on project. Most projects fit in this time frame. If you go over the time limit, it will be an extra $40 an hour!
-
Use of all tools and equipment in the studio
-
Solder and other consumable materials
Materials & Costs
Due to the constant change of the precious metal market, silver and stones are not included in the class tuition. Expect to spend an additional $20–$100, depending on your stone and design. I charge my wholesale rate for silver. You can pay this with cash, card, or venmo at the end of the workshop. Please see the second photo in this description for an idea of how much each design will cost.
Least expensive material cost would be for a small stone ring. Most expensive material cost would be for a Bolo Tie.
You’re welcome to bring your own stone (please send a photo beforehand) or purchase from these trusted sources:
I’ll also have a selection of stones available for purchase during class.
