When we talk about size inclusivity, most people think of clothing—and rightfully so. But did you know size inclusivity also applies to jewelry?
It might not be the first thing that comes to mind, but let me break it down.
When I make rings, a larger size naturally requires more silver. More material means a higher production cost. From a business standpoint, it would make sense to charge more for larger ring sizes. But here’s the thing, I don’t believe that customers should have to pay more simply because of their size.
Everyone deserves to feel seen, included, and celebrated in the world of handmade goods.
That’s why I price all my rings based on an “average” ring size. Whether you wear a size 5 or a size 11, the price remains the same. I absorb the difference in material cost so you don’t have to worry about being charged more (or less) just because your size isn’t the norm.
To me, this small act is a big part of creating an inclusive shopping experience—one where everyone feels welcome and valued. And I believe that’s worth every extra ounce of silver.
