If you read my most recent blog post, you read about my whole ordeal with saying "no" to a big opportunity to sell my jewelry and gain a lot of exposure.
Anyway, after saying no, I was proud of myself for sticking with my values, but feeling pretty defeated because at the end of the day, I want to grow my business.
A friend sent me a quote saying, "it takes saying no to something to signal to the universe what we are willing to accept."
Let me tell you, this became true pretty quickly. After saying no in an email, I was approached by two different stores in Escalante where you can now find my jewelry. It's like the universe was saying, "Hey, I heard you loud and clear! Here are two more opportunities for you!" I was also approached by 4 other stores, so within a month, I added 6 more wholesale/consignment accounts.
All of these stores are woman-owned, small businesses, and sustainably focused. These are the types of places I want to support and sell my jewelry at.
Here is where you can shop my jewelry in person:
- Align Spa: 1792 Bonanza Dr #130, Park City, UT 84060

So, the next time you feel like you're at a dead-end, just remember that it might be the universe's way of redirecting you towards something even better. Embrace the closed doors, because they're just leading you to the open ones!
