Funny enough, these are the first earring designs I ever sold. With very minimal skills (I only took one class at this time), but a strong desire to create jewelry and to sell, I launched a small collection of Trail Danglers in my first ever online update in January of 2021.
Where did I come up with name and design? Part of it is the mere fact that my skillset only allowed me to create simple designs, but I also wanted to create earrings that are elegant and could be dressed up or down. I wanted something that I could hike in which is why I added the extra long ear wire, and also came up with the name Trail Dangelrs!
Throughout the years, I have probably sold 50+ pairs of these....in fact, the only collection I have ever sold out of was one purely made up of Trail Danglers!
Eventually, I grew tired of this design and stopped making them all together in 2023. People would ask about them every once in a while, but I knew I had to wait until inspiration struck to create them again.
At the beginning of this year, I was looking for ways to create with silver without breaking the bank, and decided to revamp my Trail Dangler design with the skills I've acquired over the years. Not too much as changed about the design besides my attention to detail and adding a thicker gauge ear wire, so they are even more sturdy! To my surprise, you all were excited to see this design back!
It's been a joy and honor seeing how much my jewelry skills have evolved and to see how much you all have supported me from day one to now. Appreciate the love regardless on when you joined me on this journey!

The name and design came from a combination of practical limitations and intentional vision. My skillset at the time naturally led me toward simpler, cleaner designs, but I was determined to create something elegant that could work for any occasion. I wanted earrings I could wear on the trail myself, so I designed them with an extra-long ear wire for comfort and security during hikes. That's how Trail Danglers were born.
Over the years, these earrings became my best sellers. I've moved over 50 pairs, and remarkably, the only collection I've ever completely sold out of was made entirely of Trail Danglers. That kind of response from customers meant everything to me as a new designer.
By 2023, I felt I'd taken the design as far as I could and decided to retire them for a while. Customers would occasionally ask if I'd bring them back, but I knew I needed to wait for the right moment and fresh inspiration.
Earlier this year, I was exploring ways to work with silver more affordably, and the idea struck to reimagine Trail Danglers using all the techniques and knowledge I'd gained. The design hasn't changed dramatically, but the execution is noticeably better—I've refined the details and upgraded to a thicker gauge ear wire for extra durability and comfort. I'm thrilled that you've welcomed them back with such enthusiasm.
