Some of you may know that I used to be a public school teacher. I loved teaching and working with students but the system was soul-crushing.
Recently, I landed my dream job: teaching metalsmithing at a local community college. But I also know there’s a big desire here in SLC for shorter, hands-on classes—like learning how to make a ring or getting a taste of metalsmithing without a full semester commitment.
So, I’m thrilled to announce that starting in January 2026, I’ll be offering intimate metalsmithing workshops right here in my studio!
The opportunity to rent extra space came sooner than expected, but the timing feels perfect. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and affordable space to learn metalsmithing through small classes and one-on-one mentorship. I want to share my love for this craft and create a fun, unique experience for everyone involved.
