Create your own stacker rings in this short but engaging workshop!

You will start by measuring your ring size, and I will walk you through how to measure, file, and solder your stackers. You can create two stacker rings in 2 hours. You will have the choice between silver, goldfilled, or pattern silver wire. I will walk you through how to add textures to your bands, if you want too!

By the end of class, you’ll leave with beautiful, handcrafted stackers you’ll be proud to wear, plus the foundational metalsmithing skills to continue building your craft.

No prior experience is necessary. This class is for 21+ only.

What to Expect

This is an intimate, small-group workshop for a personalized, hands-on experience. Each participant will have their own workstation at a shared table. We’ll share soldering torches (butane and/or acetylene) and a Flex Shaft.

Materials & Costs

Due to the constant change of the precious metal market, silver and goldfilled are NOT included in the class tuition. Expect to spend an additional $10-$20, depending on how much metal you use. I charge my wholesale rate for silver. You can pay this with cash, card, or venmo at the end of the workshop. Please see the second photo in this description for an idea of how much each design will cost.

• A good outfit choice would be long pants, closed toe shoes, and any clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Feel free to bring an apron to wear too.
  

About the Instructor

With over 5 years of metalsmithing experience and a teaching background, teaching jewelry making is my passion. I also teach jewelry making at Salt Lake Community College. My teaching philosophy blends patience, creativity, and encouragement — whether you’re a complete beginner or expanding your skills.

Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to find parking and settle in.
If you’re more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, your spot may be forfeited.

By registering for this workshop, participants acknowledge that they will be working with tools, torches, and other equipment that carry inherent risks. Safety protocols will be explained and must be followed at all times.
Participants agree to assume full responsibility for their personal safety and any damages or injuries that may occur during the workshop.
By attending, you release the instructor and studio from any liability related to accidents, injuries, or loss of personal property.

Returns: I will accept any returns within 30 days of receiving your jewelry for whatever reason, even for wrong ring size. I want you to truly love your piece of jewelry! Please contact me within that time frame. I will not accept returns on customs, however.

Shipping: All ready-made items will ship within 3-7 days. If you need an earlier ship day, please email me,. Any customs or made to order and custom items will ship within 14-21 days or the timeline discussed.

Your CTS piece is made with adventure in mind. Take care to keep your jewelry dry and protect the stones when doing vigorous activities. When not in use, store your jewelry in a box or bag. Silver will naturally tarnish with time. When this happens, use a micro fiber polishing cloth to remove fingerprints, oils, and other residue. If a deeper cleaning is needed, use 0000 fine grit steel wool with gentle soapy water. Avoid using harsh jewelry cleaning chemicals as it can damage the stone and remove the patina.

Even though I create jewelry with adventure in mind, jewelry is still fragile and can break. Please reach out if you need a repair. I will only repair jewelry that I made. Most repairs will come with at least a $30 fee if not more, depending on the repair. If your item breaks within the first year of purchase, I will repair most for free. If you lose an earring, first of all, each earring comes with a clear plastic back, please wear these to ensure they will stay in for all adventures! However, I will replace any of the Threader earrings in my Adventure Collection for only $5, plus shipping. If you lose another earring depending on if there is a stone or not, I maybe able to replace it for about half the price you paid.
